
Recently, the Chongqing Kaizhou to Yunyang Expressway (Jiangkou-Yunyang-Longgang section) (hereinafter referred to as "Jianglong Expressway") was completed and opened to traffic as scheduled.
Netion, with its successful application cases in multiple expressways and thorough on-site research and coordination, conducted a detailed analysis of the actual power needs of the load facilities at each site along the expressway. Considering harsh factors such as humidity, dust, and high temperatures in the tunnels, Netion customized dozens of industrial-grade UPS-based uninterruptible power supply solutions for the Jianglong Expressway. These solutions have been unanimously recognized by the users and will provide safe, stable, and reliable power protection for the toll collection, communication, monitoring, and tunnel lighting systems of the Jianglong Expressway's electromechanical engineering, ensuring traffic safety in the tunnels.
The Jianglong Expressway is an important road for development, people's livelihood, and innovation. It is a crucial infrastructure support for Yunyang and surrounding areas to demonstrate new achievements and breakthroughs in the new pattern of the Western Development Strategy. It will directly benefit two deeply impoverished towns, Hongchiba Town in Wuxi County and Nixi Town in Yunyang County, as well as 120 impoverished villages and over 300,000 impoverished people along the route. It will also drive the coordinated development of populous towns such as Jiangkou and Nanxi along the route, making travel more convenient for over 3 million citizens in the northeastern Chongqing area.
The Kaizhou to Yunyang Expressway (Jiangkou-Yunyang-Longgang section) starts from Jiangkou Town in Yunyang County, and extends south through Nanxi Town, Huangshi Town, Shuikou Town, and the county seat of Yunyang County, crossing the Yangtze River, and passing through Fengming Town, Baoping Town, Longjiao Town, and Biaocao Town in Yunyang County, ending at Qingshui Tujia Township in Yunyang County. In the long term, it will connect to Enshi Prefecture in Hubei Province. The main line of the project is 69.8 kilometers long. This section of the expressway intersects with the G42 Shanghai-Chengdu Expressway, the Wuyun-Kaizhou Expressway, and the Wan-Yun-Feng-Wu-Nan Expressway, increasing the longitudinal backbone transportation in the northeastern Chongqing area. It will also densify the expressway network in the Three Gorges Reservoir area, forming a transportation pattern extending east to Hubei and Shanghai, west to Chongqing and Chengdu, north to Gansu and Shaanxi, and south to Hunan and Guangdong. This will significantly improve the connectivity between the central and western regions and is of great significance in expressway network connectivity and promoting regional coordinated development. Meanwhile, this highway will also connect tourist attractions such as Yunyang Longgang Scenic Area, Puan World-Class Dinosaur Fossil Base, and Wuxi Hongchiba, forming a large tourism loop in northeastern Chongqing.
